Dermaplane Facial

A HydraFacial is a facial treatment performed by a licensed esthetician using a patented device to deliver exfoliation, cleansing, extraction, and hydration to the face. This system uses a vortex swirling action to deliver hydration and to remove dead skin, dirt, debris, and impurities while cleaning and soothing your skin. Your aesthetician uses a pen-like attachment to apply a moisturizing serum with antioxidants.

After a HydraFacial, you may notice smoother, more radiant skin, possibly with a more even skin tone. The results are said to be noticeable immediately, without any visible signs of irritation.

While a one-time treatment can provide results, the best way to experience the HydraFacial is regularly.  HydraFacial can be done every four to six weeks and with consistent treatment, clients can address various concerns like acne, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone.

Each HydraFacial session takes less than an hour, and no downtime is required. Unlike with harsher procedures like chemical peels, you can resume your normal activities right away. While you shouldn’t experience any redness or peeling after your session, it’s still best to avoid exfoliating treatments for the first couple of days after a HydraFacial.

5 Steps to Hydration

Step 1. Deep Cleanse- the skin is cleansed and prepped for the treatment

Step 2. Detoxify- hydrogen infused water lifts oxygen molecules from the skin

Step 3. Hydrate- hyaluronic acid and hydrogen solutions promote deep hydration

Step 4. Plump- formulas rich in antioxidants rejuvenate skin texture

Step 5. Massage- rollers are applied to encourage lymphatic drainage

The first applicator in the Skinwave system applies small pulses of electrical energy to the skin. These electrical pulses with LED light open your pores to allow maximum absorption of the antioxidants. Skin is then thoroughly cleansed and treated to hydrogen enhanced water.

Secondly, your Skinwave facial provider will adjust the levels of AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), BHA (beta hydroxy acid), and hyaluronic acid in the topical solutions based on your skin’s unique needs. This carefully adjusted formula is then applied to the skin to hydrate and improve skin tone.

Lastly, the facial massage applicator is used across the face to relax the muscles. These contouring rollers help release tension in the facial muscles and assist with lymphatic drainage. The lifting effect of this roller applicator also promotes skin tightening and toning.
